mam, why we get U symbol beside files in vs code and some get M, why ?

The ‘U’ means the files are ‘untracked’, and the ‘M’ means the files have been ‘modified’ .

why this untrack symbol comes ?

No, you need to submit either the GitHub profile link or Google drive public link or any online editor like Google Collab link.

Untrack symbols comes because The file is new or has been changed but has not been added to the repository yet.
