Marking System for Quiz

I wanted to bring to your attention a concern regarding the marking system for our quizzes. Currently, each quiz consists of 10 questions, with each question being worth 10 marks. However, the passing marks for the quiz are set at 75.

Upon reviewing the marking system, I realized that this may not be entirely fair. With each question worth 10 marks, it is only possible for a candidate to achieve either 70 or 80 marks. Therefore, I kindly request that you consider updating the passing marks to 70, which would align with the marking system and ensure fairness for all candidates.

Hi @taran933933 , I can undertsand your point of view, however the passing marks for every quiz and assignment is standardized across all modules and will not be changed.

Please keep in mind that the pass marks reflects the standard and quality of each submission. Please focus on understanding your assignments and quizzes, your instructor and TAs are always there to help you out.
