Converting all words to in lowercase does reduce the dimensionality. So third shouldn’t be correct.

Have you any sources where you saw it does change the dimensionality

yeah because for vectorization you consider all the unique words so same word with different cases considered as different word. So, it is important to have them in one case (lowercase) for consistency.
