After installing VS Code, you can follow these steps to get started:

  1. Open VS Code and install any extensions or plugins you need for your development environment. You can do this by clicking on the Extensions icon on the left-hand side of the screen and searching for the extension you need like live server , Live Server is a popular extension for Visual Studio Code that allows you to launch a development server and serve your static and dynamic web pages as you edit and save them in real-time
  2. Set up your workspace by creating a new folder and opening it in VS Code. You can do this by going to File > Open Folder.
  3. Customize your settings by going to File > Preferences > Settings. Here, you can change various settings such as the theme, font size, and keybindings.
  4. Create your first file by going to File > New File. You can choose the language for your file by clicking on the language selector in the bottom right corner of the screen and write like this if it is a html file you can write index.html and js file like index.js .
